EXPERIENCE SCHENECTADY CIVIC PLAYHOUSE
We believe in the power of expression and work day and night to make sure our performances are flawless and meaningful. Our captivating shows are designed to captivate and enlighten audiences. If you are looking to enjoy an entertaining outing suited for the entire family, you’ve come to the right place.
- so we can be together soon!
First, thank you to all of the essential workers who are keeping us healthy, fed, and secure. Thank you for your service! As of today, many of us have been home for six weeks. We’ve seen weddings, graduations and special events be postponed or cancelled.
Schenectady Civic Players has had to postpone the rest of our current season, This Random World, The Cake, and Prelude to a Kiss, until next season. While we are so grateful to be able to present these funny and beautiful shows to you, we have been unable to bring in much-needed revenue through ticket sales to keep the Playhouse strong for the future.
GivingTuesday, the global movement that usually takes place after Thanksgiving, has been moved to May 5th in response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
Your generosity would be greatly appreciated during this uncertain time. Your donation will allow us to continue to present high quality theater for the community. Please consider if you are able, to make a donation via the link below. Our organization is 100% volunteer run and every dollar will be used to further our mission!
We can’t wait for you to join us once we are back onstage and lighting up Church Street!!
