AUDITION
Schenectady Civic Players’ auditions are held on 2 separate nights. Registration begins at 7:00 with auditions starting at 7:30. Audition forms are provided so resumes and head shots are not required, but can be helpful.
Audition readings are typically done from “sides” or excerpts from the script. Monologues are generally not required unless expressly specified by the director. During auditions, readings are conducted in small groups assembled by the audition committee.
Audition dates and roles can be found on each event page.
