APPRAISERS ROAD SHOW RETURNING

Saturday, September 18 & 19, 2021 to benefit the Schenectady Civic Players

Do you have a treasure in your attic? Are you curious to know its history or value? Then be sure to attend Appraisers Road Show’s antiques and art discovery weekend September 18 and 19 at Schenectady Civic Players, 12 South Church Street in Schenectady.

Bring your items for appraisal – paintings, posters, prints, toys, jewelry, silver, coins, military relics, oriental ceramics, jade and oriental art, rugs, tapestries, fabrics, sports memorabilia, books, documents, photos. Or just come to observe the excitement.

The event, Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm both days, is open to the public. No appointment or admission fee. Just $5 for each item you choose to have evaluated, and Schenectady Civic benefits from that fee. Expert appraisers help answer three important questions: What is the piece I own? What is the value? Where is the best place to sell antiques, art objects and collectibles?

Appraisers Road Show is bringing a team of nationally and internationally recognized experts including former Sotheby’s and Christie’s appraisers. Their experts, all independent art, antique, and collectibles authorities, include Robert Meringolo, a former Sotheby’s associate.

The appraisers show was started in 2011 as a venue for local communities and smaller cities to have access to antiques, art, and collectibles experts. Since then thousands throughout New York have benefited from learning what their heirlooms are worth. Large and small discoveries have been made, to the delight of many owners.

Proceeds benefit Schenectady Civic Players’ Centennial Fund.
